Terms & Conditions

• Primary renter must be at least 21 years old (additional-driver fees may apply under 25).
• Valid, unexpired U.S. driver’s license and proof of active insurance are required.
• Rideshare rentals require rideshare-endorsed coverage or an approved equivalent.
• DBE may decline any application at our sole discretion.

• DBE offers 3-day and weekly rental packages. Rates shown on the vehicle detail page apply to the selected package.
• Unlimited miles are included with every DBE rental. Commercial towing, off-road use, and out-of-territory travel remain prohibited unless expressly approved in writing.
• Reservations are not confirmed until payment of the deposit and completion of eligibility review.

• A refundable deposit is required and varies by vehicle and coverage tier.
• The deposit is refunded after the vehicle is returned on time, in original condition, with the agreed fuel level, and free of citations or tolls.
• Late returns, damage, cleaning beyond normal use, and unpaid tolls or violations may be charged to the payment method on file.

You agree that the vehicle will not be used to:

• Transport illegal substances, contraband, or anything hazardous.
• Race, tow, push, or engage in off-road or reckless driving.
• Operate for rideshare or delivery platforms unless the vehicle is listed as rideshare-eligible and approved by DBE.
• Be driven by anyone not listed as an approved driver on the Rental Agreement.
• Leave the approved geographic territory without written consent.

• Renter must maintain valid insurance throughout the rental period.
• Renter is responsible for damage, loss, theft, and third-party claims arising during the rental, subject to the coverage tier selected and applicable law.
• Incidents must be reported to DBE and, where applicable, law enforcement immediately.

Renter is responsible for all tolls, parking tickets, moving violations, red-light and speed-camera citations, and related administrative fees incurred during the rental.

• Reservations may be canceled or rescheduled before pickup subject to our published cancellation policy.
• Once the rental has started, changes are handled under the Rental Agreement.
• No-shows may forfeit deposits and be subject to future-booking restrictions.

• Return the vehicle at the agreed date, time, and location. Late returns incur additional daily fees.
• If the vehicle needs service, DBE will provide a swap when reasonably available.

DBE may recover the vehicle at any time if the rental is in default, payments are unpaid, insurance lapses, or use violates these Terms or the Rental Agreement. Renter is responsible for related recovery costs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DBE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of our services or a rental. DBE’s aggregate liability will not exceed the amounts paid by you for the rental giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless D. Black Enterprise LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of a DBE vehicle or breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which D. Black Enterprise LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in that state, unless the Rental Agreement specifies binding arbitration.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
